The role that operations and technology play within inhouse legal functions is increasingly important and seen as pivotal to their success and sustainability. As a Business Analyst, you will be part of a high-functioning team with varied but complementary skillsets, bringing experience from top-tier law firms, technology start-ups, in-house legal teams, and Big 4 from Australia and abroad.

You must share our passion for excellence, be comfortable in running multiple concurrent projects, and being part of a close-knit team of lawyers, consultants, analysts, and technologists. A keen interest in legal technology, particularly the potential for AI-based technologies to revolutionize the legal industry, would be highly valued.

This role requires:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, teamwork, and project coordination capabilities
  • Proven ability to elicit and document business and customer needs, translating these to clear requirements, with experience in implementation
  • A strong understanding of the technology landscape available to in-house legal teams and experience in technology implementation
  • Ownership of various projects and initiatives, ensuring these are delivered on time and on budget
  • A curious mind and a collaborative approach to knowledge sharing
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)

A competitive salary range of $120,000-$180,000 per annum reflects the complexity of this role and the skills required. You will also have the opportunity to work with our unified LOTS team globally, both on client engagements and thought leadership initiatives.
