Part Time Catering Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to assist with the preparation of meals, maintain cleanliness and organisation in the serving area, dining room, and kitchen, and provide friendly and attentive service to students, staff, and visitors.

The Role:

  • Assist with the preparation of meals, including assembling sandwiches, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and dietary requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the serving area, dining room, and kitchen, including dishwashing, sanitisation, and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to students, staff, and visitors, including the use of POS.

The Person:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach, able to engage with diverse individuals and provide exceptional service.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality or food service industry.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work demands, coupled with a reliable work ethic and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of meals, maintaining a clean and organised environment, and providing excellent customer service. This includes:
