As a State Lead for Clinical Research, you will oversee the management of research operations and line staff in South Australia. This role involves building strong relationships with doctors, practice staff, and research teams to ensure successful trial conduct.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in regulatory, administrative, and clinical frameworks as they pertain to research.
  • Ensure all research adheres to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, study specific protocols, and national and international laws and regulations.
  • Develop a team culture that supports our strategy, strives for performance, and follows established values.
  • Have a thorough understanding of trials being conducted in the state and facilitate collaboration between hospital departments and third parties to provide quality clinical services.
  • Collaborate with other business units to support milestone achievement and manage study issues.
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders, such as sponsor representatives.
  • Assist the Clinical Research Team Manager with recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
  • Provide guidance and development opportunities to achieve performance goals.
  • Implement regular team meetings and foster effective communication strategies.
  • Work closely with the Quality Team to identify and manage quality risks and issues.
