Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Midwife or Clinical Midwife to join our team at the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. As a key member of our nursing and midwifery services, you will provide expert care and support to patients across diverse healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing and midwifery services to patients, families, and communities.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare staff on various aspects of midwifery and nursing care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Current practicing certificate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of healthcare settings.
