About the Role:
We are seeking a suitably qualified Registered Midwife Level 2 to join our team at Centenary Hospital for Women and Children.
As a Continuity Midwife, you will work to your full scope of practice, including suturing competency, homebirth facilitation, mentorship of junior midwives, quality improvement initiatives, and the full range of clinical and communication skills expected of a CMP Level 2 midwife.
You will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team that will work with you to expand and develop your clinical skills to care for the community within Canberra and surrounding regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality midwifery care to patients
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Develop and maintain skills and knowledge to meet the needs of patients and the healthcare team
