Job Title: Space Manager

Overview:

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the way in crafting amazing workspaces and experiences that enable teams to do their best work.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing remote employees, CoWorks, and offices throughout NZ and AUS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage facilities operations and maintenance across seven locations.
  • Lead space planning, office moves, and workstation configurations to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure the office environment meets health, safety, and environmental standards in line with Australian regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance audits.
  • Oversee external vendors and contractors, ensuring service quality and compliance.
  • Support employee wellbeing through proactive office management, ergonomics, and workplace safety.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for staff queries or issues related to the office and remote working environments.
  • Create a welcoming, functional, and productive environment for a diverse workforce.
  • Partner with HR and department leads to support in-office and remote events, wellness programs, and hybrid working arrangements.
Requirements:
  • 2–4 years' experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role.
  • 2+ years' experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills — able to balance day-to-day responsibilities while driving complex projects.
  • Previous experience leading a small team to successfully deliver business outcomes.
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including landlords, property managers, and third-party vendors.
