Business Information Officer Job Description

The Land Command, Control, Communications and Computing Program (LC4) is seeking a highly skilled Business Information Officer to provide finance and procurement support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with vendors regarding purchase order details and invoicing processes
  • Manage delivery dates and stale commitments for purchase orders
  • Coordinate invoice payments, including verification of goods receipt and taking action to correct invoices
  • Reconcile Directorate travel arrangements
  • Monitor burndown rates for all contractors
  • Coordinate interactions on DSS and other panels, including adding and finalising requests for tender, actioning alerts, etc.
  • Coordinate and maintain standard operating procedures and governance documents, including drafting and maintenance
  • Document filing in Objective

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience in managing purchase orders and coordinating invoice payments
  • Knowledge of financial and procurement processes
