About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Platform Engineer to join our team as a Technical Product Owner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping our product roadmaps and platforms towards our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers and crew leads to translate product vision, strategy, and roadmap into actionable tasks and be responsible for delivery outcomes.
  • Work closely with Business Stakeholders and other internal product teams to continually deliver value from the product and drive towards our strategic ambitions.
  • Define problems into user stories and solutions into business value, working collaboratively with engineers and other product teams.
  • Participate in research and evaluate data to inform decision making, embedding continuous learning and improvement.
  • Prioritize the backlog for the product that continuously delivers measurable value, enabling and achieving business results.
Requirements
  • Strong technical domain knowledge and experience with Kubernetes, Linux, and container primitives.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tooling, such as GitHub, GitHub actions, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
  • Experience with building roadmaps and sprints using Jira.
  • Understanding or experience with languages such as Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, and Bash scripting.
  • Automation-friendly data representations, such as YAML, JSON, and CSV.
  • Source control and configuration as code, using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • An interest in technical product challenges and experience with iterative and/or lean design and development.
