As part of a dedicated team, you will support people with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions as they prepare for a meaningful career. Working collaboratively, you will guide individuals through the job-readiness journey - helping them build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their career goals.
From initial consultation to job application and interview preparation, you will be there every step of the way - empowering individuals to take control of their future and feel ready to step into the workforce.
Main Responsibilities- Work closely with clients to create personalized career plans and provide ongoing support throughout the process.
- Buildeffective relationships with clients to understand their goals, strengths, and support needs.
- Provide tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.
- Connect participants with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience, and group-based activities.
- Collaborate with employers and community services to open pathways to employment and training.
- Meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
- Embody the values of inclusivity, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
You bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. With experience or a genuine passion for employment services, you are confident in supporting people, building trust, and guiding them toward fulfilling and sustainable careers. You are outcomes-focused, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
You love getting to know each client's unique strengths, goals, and challenges so you can coach them effectively and build their confidence for their next career. At the same time, you enjoy engaging with employers; taking the time to understand their business needs so you can prepare candidates who are the right fit. Your strong relationship-building skills allow you to connect with both clients and employers alike.
You are proactive, professional, and detail-oriented, always maintaining accurate records and upholding a high standard of service. Above all, you lead with integrity, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive, person-centred support.
Essential Qualifications- Degree in Employment or Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work)
- Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions
- Proven ability to meet performance indicators and create client-focused employment and skills plans
- Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends
- Current Driver's License
