About the Position

This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on clients' lives while enjoying a flexible work arrangement. You will have the chance to develop and implement individualised treatment plans, collaborate with colleagues, and facilitate DBT skill groups.

Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma-focused psychotherapy to clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans
  • Facilitate DBT skill groups and lead sessions for up to 15 people
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Minimum 5 years delivering therapy in a clinical setting
  2. Full AHPRA registration (General or Clinical) or AASW registration (Mental Health or Clinical)
  3. Specialist training and experience in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, EMDR, Schematherapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, or Internal Family Systems
  4. Bachelor or master's in social work or Post-Graduate in Psychology
  5. Hybrid work model with 50/50 split between home and office
  6. Minimum of 5 clients per day with each session being one hour plus 15-30 minutes for admin work
Professional Development Opportunities
  1. DBT learning: Opportunity to specialise in DBT therapy with paid training and supervision
  2. DBT skill group facilitation: Lead sessions for groups of up to 15 people

Compensation Details
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $116,000 (prorated for 4 days per week)
  • Bonus scheme: Bonus payment for seeing more than the minimum number of clients per day
