Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cook to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook healthy meals for a large number of children daily, ensuring exceptional nutrition and education for young minds.
  • Conduct weekly stock takes and ordering to maintain efficient kitchen operations and ensure timely delivery of fresh produce.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
  • Have a strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements to prepare safe and nutritious meals for children with special needs.
  • Communicate effectively with families through the Story Park platform, keeping them informed about their child's development and progress.
Qualifications & Skills
  • A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is mandatory for this role.
  • A valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one is essential.
  • Previous experience as a Cook in a childcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Be driven to provide outstanding nutrition and education to young children, exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional results.
  • Have a thorough understanding of applicable regulations and policies, ensuring compliance and maintaining a safe working environment.
