Job Title: High-Rise Scaffolder Technician

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Rope Access Technician to work in the Geotechnical division of our company. The successful applicant will be working on a full-time contract, including living and working in the Goldfields region.

The position involves working at the KCGM Superpit, which is not a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) role. Successful applicants must hold relevant IRATA Certification and will receive a site rate commensurate with their level.

  • Maintain and inspect all rope access equipment necessary to perform the rope access work.
  • Verify the integrity of anchor systems and components.
  • Complete and maintain accurate site records.
  • Perform standard rescue procedures for the specific work environment.
  • Install cable bolts, ground support mesh, and accessories.
  • Implement testing where required.
  • Understand and implement fall protection protocols.
  • Conduct safety evaluations of rope access operations.
  • Manage access and exclusion zones at the worksite.
  • Report unsafe hazards or risks to Site Supervisor and Site Manager.
Requirements:
  • Geotechnical rope access experience.
  • First Aid & CPR Qualification.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A high regard for workplace safety.
