Emanate Technology is seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Manager to lead the automation testing process and ensure the highest quality of products.

As the Automation Test Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all testing activities, developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, and presenting testing metrics and results to management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all testing activities to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose software products.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies in collaboration with test analysts, developers, and other team members.
  • Present testing metrics, results, and insights to management and stakeholders.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities effectively.
  • Facilitate communication across multiple agile projects, ensuring smooth collaboration between teams.
  • Collaborate with project managers to align testing activities with project timelines and objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise in testing, ensuring the correct application of test techniques and processes.
  • Manage software quality throughout the development lifecycle, with a focus on both prevention and detection of issues.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and adherence to testing standards across the team.
  • Regularly review and assess testing processes and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Mentor and support the development of a high-performing testing team that is fully integrated into cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Perform hands-on testing as required to support the team and projects.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise Test Analysts and support the development of the Automation team.
  • Build and develop a skilled testing team tailored to meet the client's needs.
  • Define roles and responsibilities within the testing team to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proven experience in a Test Manager role with demonstrated people management and leadership skills.
  • Expertise in handling complex testing challenges across different testing types.
  • Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate, negotiate, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading testing functions in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing comprehensive test plans.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion and sound judgement.
