Job Title

Account Executive Role

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Account Executive to join our team at HAVAS Red Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of PR agency experience and a strong understanding of the Australian media landscape. They will be responsible for delivering standout work that helps make our clients famous across travel, culture, food & beverage, and lifestyle sectors.

Key responsibilities include building relationships with media contacts, creating unique story angles, writing high-quality media releases, pitching stories, and cultivating a positive client presence.

The role requires a creative spark, a proactive mindset, and a sharp eye for detail. The successful candidate will be an event-day legend, able to plan and execute events seamlessly and unforgettably.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the Account Executive will also support the development of communications plans and materials, track and report on campaign coverage, and contribute to the growth and improvement of the team's culture.

  • Media relations connection and activity
  • Experience in event management (guest list development, event program curation)
  • Influencer management experience (developing matrices, briefing documents, and capturing content)
  • Campaign coverage tracking and reporting
