Role Overview:


In this key position, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key customers in first, second, and third lines to help manage operational risk and deliver Operational Resilience and Third-Party management practices in line with relevant regulatory obligations.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide effective oversight and challenge of Third-Party operational risk and resilience activities, and relevant change initiatives, to ensure that supplier risks have been fully considered and agreed through appropriate governance.
  • Oversee scenario testing as it applies to management of operational resilience risks in our Third and Fourth Parties.
  • Actively engage in relevant Third- and Fourth-party operational risk and resilience governance forums/committees with oversight of issues and control gaps remediation.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key customers in first, second, and third lines to help manage operational risk and deliver Operational Resilience and Third-Party management practices in line with relevant regulatory obligations.

Requirements:



  • Experience of operational risk management, including operational resilience.
  • Experience of working with third-party suppliers.
  • Financial services background experience.
  • Successful record of building personal credibility and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Salary circa £70,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
