Strategic Academic Lead

The Academic Lead Field Education oversees the quality and implementation of field education for Bachelor and Master programs, ensuring placements align with Australian Social Work standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and review all field education components.
- Collaborate with agencies to oversee student placement performance and develop effective relationships.
- Review feedback from students and agencies regarding placement experience and make necessary improvements.
- Ensure field education staff have the skills and support needed to handle student placement issues effectively.
- Eligibility for AASW membership.
- Five years (FTE) of post-qualifying practice experience in core social work areas.
- Ability to lead and provide teaching resources, particularly in Social Work Field Education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or ability to obtain.
