The School of Media, Film and Journalism at a world top 50 University seeks an experienced and visionary leader to drive the development of academic programs, research initiatives, and industry partnerships. This is a key leadership position within the Faculty of Arts that requires strategic vision, collaborative spirit, and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans for academic programs, research initiatives, and industry partnerships
- Lead a team of academics and staff to achieve excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement
- Foster strong relationships with industry partners, stakeholders, and other academic institutions to promote collaboration and innovation
- Develop and manage budgets to support program delivery and research initiatives
- Provide high-quality leadership and mentorship to junior staff members
- Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline (Media, Journalism, Communications, or related field)
- Proven track record in academic leadership, program development, and research
- Strong industry connections and networks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong teams
