About Our Disability Support Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker. In this rewarding role, you will provide support to clients with varying care needs, empowering them to achieve their goals.

You will work collaboratively with an experienced team leader, access additional training opportunities, and enjoy a flexible roster with ongoing casual work.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support, including short shifts as required
  • Assist with personal care requirements, including wellbeing, housekeeping, meal preparation, daily activities, and community participation
  • Develop positive relationships with clients, built on trust, respect, and empathy
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and management

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of experience in the Disability Sector
  • Confidence in assisting with all Personal Care requirements
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and current Blue Card
  • Drivers Licence
