Project Officer Role

The Portable Long Service Authority plays a vital role in allowing workers to accumulate long service benefits based on their time in the industry rather than with a single employer.

This position will work closely with project leads, managers, and sponsors to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of relevant strategic priorities and projects. The primary focus is assisting in completing tasks and activities required for delivering project outputs, along with providing subject matter expertise in process enhancements and embedding change within operational teams.

To become an integral member of the IT & Facilities team, you will have well-developed skills that include:

  • Supporting the planning, coordinating, and delivering of projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • Researching, analyzing data and complex information, and making recommendations for change to drive project improvements.
  • Prioritizing tasks, managing competing deadlines, and successfully delivering assigned work.
  • Identifying and implementing operational efficiencies.
  • Being flexible and adaptable to changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
