We're seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at our Auburn facility, working on a day shift. As a Machine Operator, you'll play a critical role in achieving operational outcomes, operating plant and equipment, and providing support services to assist in the operation of the business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate front-end loaders, telehandlers, and forklifts to achieve operational efficiency
  • Provide a range of support services to assist in the operation of the business unit
  • Promote and continuously apply personal safety, environmental, and quality awareness in the workplace
  • Check daily instructions and prioritize tasks accordingly to meet required deadlines
  • Ensure all machinery is maintained in required condition, fueled, parked, and inspected at the end of each shift

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience operating an excavator and/or front-end loader
  • Ability to work a day shift with varied shifts on occasion
  • Relevant licenses and tickets, VOC training is acceptable
  • Waste industry, civil, construction, mining, or quarry experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to read and understand safety signs
