Job Description\

We are currently supporting a global sports and media business in their search for an experienced HR Generalist to lead their HR function globally.

  • Develop a human resources strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives of the organisation.
  • Oversee HR functions, including talent acquisition, talent management and retention, compensation and benefits, employee relations, People Operations, compliance, and organisational development.

The role requires:

  • Developing and executing a human resources strategy that aligns with the organisation's goals and objectives, ensuring it supports business growth, sustainability, and profitability.
  • Talent acquisition, including employment brand, sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees across different countries and cultures.
  • Day-to-day management, development, and retention of global HR resources to achieve HR and business priorities.
  • Performance management system, leadership development programs, and succession planning initiatives.
  • REM & Benefits process implementation.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the organisation maintains a positive work environment that supports employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and retention. Additionally, you will lead and manage change, navigate complex organisational structures and cultures, and ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

\Required Skills and Qualifications\

Ideal candidates are tertiary qualified in HR, have a proven track record in a Senior HR generalist role, and possess experience leading people, being strategic and operational as needed.

This is a true generalist role where you will have a seat at the table and support the leadership team on everything HR & Talent. Your experience around systems & process set up, commercial acumen, and driving change through transformation across time zones will be key to your success in this role.
