Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Sales Team at Stamford Hotels and Resorts. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to make a tangible contribution to the growing South Australian tourism and hospitality industry.

The primary role of the Business Development Executive is to assist the Business Development Managers in establishing, building, and diversifying robust sales pipelines, and helping shape the long-term Sales strategies and continuous growth across both Stamford properties.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of collaborating and thriving in a competitive hospitality Sales environment, with proven sales experience and ability to articulate the distinct aspects of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking a proactive approach to client relationship cultivation through personable and genuine interactions via phone and face-to-face.
  • Maintaining accurate client information in relevant internal databases for ease of tracking by the wider Sales and Events Teams.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for client sales enquiries, and either supporting or independently conducting site inspections as required.
  • Collaborating closely with the Business Development Managers to achieve preset KPIs and objectives conducive to the longevity of Sales for the Hotels.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and providing timely and friendly feedback to create and maintain outstanding rapport with prospective and existing clients, both internally and externally.
  • Providing robust and seamless administrative support to the Team, such as meeting minute taking, proposal writing and quotes, data oversight, and ad hoc reporting.

About You:

  • A motivated team player who embodies the following qualities: proven sales experience, previous experience as a Sales Coordinator or Executive in the hospitality industry, success with driving sales processes from ideation to close, sound ability to articulate our products and services, undeniable ability to position products and services in a favourable light against competitors.
