Job Title: Pharmacist Specialist - Casual Role

This role is a great opportunity to work in a clinical area, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care. The successful candidate will be a resource pharmacist for the specialty area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to various teams across the state, focusing on opioid pharmacotherapy provision.
  • Work within policies for alcohol and drug services, including Pharmacotherapy and Inpatient Withdrawal Units.
  • Dispense medications for patients discharged from Inpatient Withdrawal Units.
Requirements:
  • Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Eligible for provisional registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia for pre-registration (intern) pharmacists.
  • Tertiary qualification approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia or completion of an overseas qualification eligible for skills assessment through the Australian Pharmacy Council.
