The Board Clinical Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our organisation to ensure its clinical governance systems are future-focused and reform-ready.
Leadership Role OverviewThis is a governance position that requires an experienced clinical leader with a strong background in senior executive and governance roles across aged care, community health, or disability services.
Key Responsibilities- A registered Health Practitioner with current registration and AHPRA approval.
- Postgraduate qualification in Health Management, Governance, Risk, Gerontology, or Public Health.
- Completion of AICD Company Directors Course or willingness to undertake.
- Demonstrated ability to influence complex organisations and high-stakes decision-making.
Candidates should have a background in gerontology, palliative care, or ageing-focused health leadership, with the ability to lead confidently through aged care reform and represent the clinical voice at the highest level of decision-making.
Requirements- 10-15+ years of experience in senior clinical, executive, or Board-level roles.
- Experience designing or embedding enterprise-wide clinical governance systems.
- Oversight of clinical risk portfolios, performance systems, and consumer feedback channels.
This is an exciting opportunity to achieve something great for the aged community, involving approximately six Board meetings per year.
