Wood Plc is currently recruiting for a Senior Expeditor to join its Operations business in Australia & Asia Pacific West (APAC WEST).

This opportunity enables you to become part of an expanding Operations team, as part of the company's strategic growth plan for 2024 and beyond. Based in Perth CBD, this long-term commitment role is available on a permanent full-time / part-time (job share) basis.

The Operations division delivers Brownfield's engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the Energy industry. Wood enjoys long-term partnerships with prominent Energy and LNG producers in Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Southeast Asia.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be based in Perth CBD at Dexus Place - 240 St Georges Terrace, with access to exclusive onsite gym facilities, superb end-of-trip amenities, coffee machines serving on demand, and ample creative spaces. As a key member of the Operations team, you must hold full work rights to work in this Australian location.

The ideal candidate will possess post-secondary professional qualifications from a recognised institution and a minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in expediting within the Oil & Gas industry. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in industry's materials & document expediting best practices.
  • Detailed knowledge of suppliers, manufacturing schedules, and expediting, as well as terms and conditions of purchase and supplier obligations.
  • Good experience with ERP systems (e.g. ERM, Maximo, Oracle, SAP).
  • Commercial acumen with a 'solutions mindset' and sound risk management, consistent with safety and commercial requirements.
  • Customer-focused with ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational excellence.
