About the Role

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Portfolio Manager to join our Asset Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of fixed income ETFs, providing inputs to setup fixed income portfolio management and trading capabilities, and ensuring ETFs perform in line with their investment objectives and remain within mandates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fixed Income ETF Management: Responsible for the day-to-day management of fixed income ETFs, including monitoring daily reconciliations between front office systems and official valuations.
  • Portfolio Management and Trading: Provide inputs to setup fixed income portfolio management and trading capabilities, and ensure ETFs perform in line with their investment objectives and remain within mandates.
  • Investment Analysis and Research: Assist in-house macro-economic analysis and fixed income research, and provide input into product development from the initial concept stage, through to design, index selection and implementation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate and coordinate efforts with portfolio administration, compliance and other business functions, and liaise with market makers in relation to capital markets activities.
  • Risk Management: Monitor daily reconciliations between front office systems and official valuations, and ensure ETFs perform in line with their investment objectives and remain within mandates.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Assist with regular fund reporting requirements, including preparation of reports for management, rating agencies etc., and liaise with legal and compliance regularly to ensure all activities are carried-out within the regulatory framework.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Educated to degree level or equivalent, e.g. CFA, and a minimum of 5 years of previous investment experience in fixed income portfolio management and trading, direct indexing/ETF experience an advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent technical knowledge of financial products, strong analytical and numerical skills to calculate and interpret portfolio management and risk measurements, and advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge including advanced skills in VBA programming.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to make decisions, establish priorities and act quickly in a high-pressure environment, and strong risk management mindset.
