Job Opportunity: Experienced Veterinary Nurse

 

We are seeking a passionate and experienced veterinary nurse to fill a full-time position at our practice.

About the Role:

  • Full-time position available for a certified IV-certified nurse with experience in high-risk patient care.
  • A supportive team environment that prioritizes mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborative work between veterinarians and nurses.
  • No on-call, overnight, or public holiday work ensures a healthy work-life balance.
  • Management is committed to staff well-being, with no sales KPIs or up-selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception duties, including client communication and scheduling appointments.
  • Surgical nursing, including anesthesia monitoring for high-risk patients.
  • Hospitalization of patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Diagnostic testing, including radiography and ultrasonography.
  • Optional participation in Puppy School programs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in monitoring anesthetics for high-risk patients.
  • Confidence in surgical nursing procedures.
  • Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Software Experience:

  • RxWorks software.
  • SmartFlow technology.
  • Deputy software.

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Friday: 8am-7pm.
  • Saturday: 8am-2pm.
  • Closed Sundays and public holidays.
