Veterinary Nurse Position

We are currently seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to take up a part-time position in our Adelaide clinic. The role offers a great balance of work and life with a focus on wellbeing, learning, and development.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general nursing tasks including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology, and emergency care under the guidance of our veterinarians.
- Perform minor procedures as required.
- Maintain the hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, handle enquiries, schedule appointments, manage client accounts, and admit/discharge patients.
The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years of clinical experience. You should have excellent animal handling skills, strong communication skills, and be able to work well autonomously and within a team environment.
Requirements- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures.
- Ability to perform minor procedures under veterinary guidance.
- Excellent animal handling skills.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- Availability to work across Monday - Saturday.
