About the Role

The Management Accountant will collaborate with both site-based operational teams and corporate functions to provide budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. A strong focus will be placed on building relationships with stakeholders, adding value through financial insights, and supporting the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support business strategy and decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and achieve objectives
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including senior management and external partners
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • CPA or CA qualified (or actively working towards)
  • 3–5 years' experience in management accounting, finance business partnering, or business analysis (mining/resources sector experience highly regarded)
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis
  • Advanced MS Excel and ERP system proficiency; exposure to Power BI advantageous
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to partner effectively at both operational and corporate levels
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
