At the forefront of logistics, we are seeking a skilled allocator to coordinate timely and cost-effective movement of goods.

The Role

This critical position involves scheduling shipments based on available space, customer requirements, and transit times. Responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling shipments with consideration for optimal space utilization and timely delivery.
  • Collaborating with carriers to secure bookings and negotiate rates.
  • Monitoring shipments to ensure timely delivery and proactively addressing any issues or delays.
  • Optimizing shipment consolidation to maximize container efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of shipment details.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a solid understanding of logistics principles and procedures, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. Experience in a similar capacity is highly valued.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A strong grasp of Incoterms, CargoWise, and ICS Customs Portal.
