Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist Operator to join our team. This role involves operating intricate equipment and machinery, including powder mixing/granulation machines and fluid bed dryers.

The successful candidate will have experience in machine operation, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 25 kg.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning various mixing machines and fluid bed dryers inside manufacturing suits according to standard operating procedures.
  • Sterile cleaning of all equipment.
  • Following GMP processes and procedures.
  • Measuring the weight of all ingredients.
  • Operating other equipment such as solution mixers, drum lifters, tippers, and stackers.
  • Conducting changeover and machine setup after cleaning - operation and adjustment of machinery.
  • Mixing/ blending formulations and performing in-process tests and checks.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
  • Pharmaceutical and food manufacturing experiences are highly regarded.
  • Drive and ability to meet KPI/targets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Workplace safety.
  • Reliable transport.
