This is a unique opportunity to shape the next phase of an esteemed research institute's development, driving strategic growth and delivering impactful research outcomes.

As a seasoned leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the institute's future, ensuring the delivery of cross-disciplinary research programs aligned with key themes such as Powering the Future, Next Generation Resources, and Environmental Sustainability & Security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive research funding growth and deliver results-oriented outcomes.
  • Collaborate with external partners to leverage expertise and resources, fostering innovative research collaborations.
  • Lead high-performing teams, managing budget and financial operations to drive sustainable outcomes.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with industry, community, and academic partners, supported by comprehensive experience working with industry and established networks.
Requirements
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications or equivalent level of knowledge gained through education, training, and/or experience.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead high-performing teams, manage budget and financial operations, and drive sustainable outcomes.
  • Expertise in strategy development and strong track record of delivering results aligned with vision and objectives.
  • Comprehensive experience working with industry and established networks.
