A Technical Business Developer will play a pivotal role in helping startups adopt AWS' technologies with a focus on Amazon's Database solutions. This involves being a best storyteller and technologist, working with promising startups, scaling tech knowledge, and gathering critical startup feedback to inform product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:
- Become a trusted business advisor within customer accounts through technical thought leadership.
- Interact at the CxO/VP level and with developers to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
- Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field teams and technology and consulting partner channels.
- Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems.
- Own the GTM strategy and execution for AWS Databases focused on startup customers in ANZ.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience.
- 5+ years of technology domain experience in database management systems.
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
Estimated Salary:$200,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, BD, or Sales Executive capacity.
- Familiarity with open-source software and software development tools and methodologies.
- Established track record of building rapport with startup executives and closing strategic deals.
- Strong data-based storytelling skills and public speaking prowess.
- Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
- Advanced degree highly preferred, especially an MBA or MS in CS or Engineering.
