News Producer Job Description

As a News Producer, you will play a key role in creating compelling and informative news content for our audience.

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in the newsroom, with exceptional communication and writing skills. They should be able to work well under pressure, meeting multiple deadlines, and have a strong attention to detail.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of news productions, line up news bulletins with precision, actively contribute to editorial decisions, write, produce, and edit compelling stories, and create engaging news content for digital and social channels.

They should also have experience in control room operations, lineup management, and video journalism or shooting. Additionally, they should be proficient in iNews and Avid MediaCentral and willing to work weekends and early/late shifts.
