Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising and rearranging of jobs in the warehouse to meet customer deadlines.
  • Time management and organisation of the warehouse operations.
  • Setting expectations at the beginning of shift, monitoring progress, and providing feedback.
  • Managing quotes, condition reports, and ensuring all necessary information is uploaded and stored in job folders.
  • Supervising and training employees, as well as identifying hazards and performing risk assessments.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure deadlines are met, and communicating effectively with customers and clients.
  • Delegating tasks to employees and ensuring work is carried out in accordance with customer specifications.

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in a similar managerial role within the industry (FCL, shipments, cargo).
  • Ability to work and lead in a team environment, possessing excellent time management skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in various software systems.
  • Sound understanding of EDI in-house system, along with sales and business development experience.
  • Proven track record reflecting strong achievements in sales growth and leadership from the front.
  • Dangerous Goods Certificate is required.
