Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team at Michael Page Australia. As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of invoice handling, from receipt and validation to coding, approval, and payment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing: Validate and process invoices using Kofax, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain positive relationships with vendors, resolving any issues related to invoicing and payments promptly.
  • AP Automation: Utilize AP automation tools to analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures related to AP processes and automation systems.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor ageing reports.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist with hands-on experience in AP automation systems, preferably Kofax.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record, ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
