Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in piping engineering design, project management and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian mechanical and piping design standards and be able to work independently on diverse projects.


About the Role

This is a key role within our team, responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions across various projects. You will be working closely with our multidisciplinary team to execute projects from initial conception to completion.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients. You will also have a flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.


Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality engineering designs and solutions across various projects
  • Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to execute projects from initial conception to completion
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in piping engineering design and project management
  • Strong understanding of Australian mechanical and piping design standards (ASME B31.3, AS4041, AS2885)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
