About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Compliance Manager to join our team at Montu. As a key member of our Logistics leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse and distribution compliance with laws, regulations, and WHS requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Expertise: Stay informed on the regulatory environment and proactively communicate changes to internal stakeholders.
  • License Management: Coordinate and maintain company licenses for all warehousing facilities.
  • WHS Performance: Review WHS performance across sites to ensure team safety.
  • Compliance Advice: Provide WHS advice to the team and leadership.
  • New Site Setup: Manage licensing for new sites, advising on location and fit-out for compliance.
  • Audit Support: Support logistics teams during government audits and manage corrective actions.
  • Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Compliance Guidance: Offer timely, accurate compliance advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Incident Management: Identify compliance incidents or gaps and initiate corrective actions.
  • Policies and Procedures: Draft, review, and update policies, procedures, and compliance-related documents.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with experience in a compliance role within a complex regulatory setting; experience in the pharmaceutical, warehousing, or logistics industry is preferred.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively collaborating with various levels within the company.
  • Internal Auditing: Experience in internal auditing and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in handling compliance matters.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Planning and Organization: Highly developed planning and organizational skills to handle competing priorities and respond to emerging needs, with the ability to travel domestically as required.
