About the Role

The Senior Financial Reporting Leader is a senior leadership position responsible for maintaining the fund's financial integrity.

This pivotal role oversees the full financial control environment, ensuring high-quality statutory and regulatory reporting, compliance with APRA requirements, and effective internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing financial reporting and control team.
  • Lead all statutory financial reporting and APRA/regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with standards and deadlines.
  • Oversee the financial control framework, maintaining robust internal controls and accounting policy adherence.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, driving accuracy and efficiency improvements.
  • Direct accounting operations including general ledger, reconciliations, procurement, payments, and custodial services.
  • Coordinate successor fund transfer (SFT) accounting in line with acquisition activity.
  • Drive process transformation, automation, and reduced month-end close timelines.
  • Provide accounting advice and strategic direction to meet compliance and reporting excellence goals.
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audits and timely resolution of issues.
