About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Service Operations and Infrastructure team, where you'll be responsible for providing technical expertise in cloud infrastructure platform support and operational oversight of cloud platforms within our multi-cloud environment.

You'll work closely with business customers, IT departments, service providers, and strategic partners to ensure best practices are followed, promoting automation and proactive activities, as well as overall platform stability and handling of support escalations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and smooth running of our multi-cloud platforms, including continual service improvement.
  • Operational oversight of key supporting services underpinning our cloud platforms.
  • ITIL service operations responsibility for our cloud environments, including risk and issue, incident, problem, availability, and change management.
  • Service transition of new and changed services into BAU operations.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert in cloud (SME) who has a strong track record operating in large enterprise hosting and cloud environments. You should have experience in managing services that scale on public cloud, preferably GCP, and firm grip on DevOps best practices and architectural patterns that support these practices.

In addition, you should have relevant experience in Enterprise Cloud Platform Management or Support, experience in project lifecycle and transitioning to BAU operations, and previous experience working in a multi-sourced environment.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is around AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
