This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic project team, delivering a world-class rail system that will transform the way Queenslanders travel.
As a Safety Administrator, you will support the Health & Safety function of the project by developing and maintaining clear administrative systems that support a simple uniform approach to H&S management across each project work area.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice on safety practices, systems, and procedures across the Project.
- Reviewing documentation to verify the capability of subcontractors to deliver required work tasks to agreed safety standards.
- Tracking progress against role & responsibility profiles and reporting on activities to project leadership.
- Applying time management skills to daily tasks while prioritizing workloads to gain maximum efficiency.
- Coordinating and scheduling meetings for the team.
- Managing data entry of project incident management systems.
- Preparing and updating all required Project Safety Plans and registers.
Requirements for this Role
- Office administration certification or a related field.
- Effective interpersonal skills with ability to influence others.
- Previous experience in similar administration supporting functions within a small team.
- Experience with administration activities for projects including preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
- Ability to demonstrate assertiveness and confidence while learning and developing from a knowledgeable team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
