About the Role

The Recruitment Alternative is seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician or Trainee to join our team. As an NDT Technician, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive tests on materials and structures to ensure their integrity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Setting up and calibrating NDT equipment
  2. Conducting material tests using non-destructive techniques
  3. Interpreting test results and generating reports
  4. Maintaining NDT equipment and ensuring it is in good working condition
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an NDT Technician (advantageous but not essential for Trainee applicants)
  • Relevant industry experience as a Boilermaker/Welder (advantageous but not essential for Trainee applicants)
  • An ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics (advantageous but not essential for Trainee applicants)
  • A genuine willingness to learn and apply new knowledge to day-to-day responsibilities
  • Thorough and accurate report writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
