Our Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to support our operations team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our production runs smoothly and efficiently. This will involve performing preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on machinery and tools within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative Maintenance: Carry out regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Breakdown Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair machinery and tools in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime.
  • Equipment Diagnostics: Diagnose faults and perform modifications to equipment as required to maintain high-quality production standards.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • OH&S Reporting: Effectively report any safety concerns or issues related to company OH&S policies.
  • Breakdown Response: Serve as the primary point of contact for responding to equipment breakdowns.

About You

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade: Hold a recognized qualification in mechanical engineering.
  • Restricted Electrical Worker's License: Possess a restricted electrical worker's license (desirable).
  • Welding & Fabrication Experience: Have experience in welding and fabrication (desirable).
  • Pneumatics and Hydraulics Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics systems.
  • Safety Focus: Be dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment and high-quality production standards.
  • Technical Drawing Skills: Be proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
  • Engineering Knowledge: Possess a sound understanding of engineering and production processes.
  • Teamwork: Be able to work effectively as part of a small team to achieve objectives.
