Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) teacher to join our team at Liverpool Girls High School in South West Sydney.


This is a permanent full-time position that will provide a unique opportunity for the right candidate to make a real difference in the lives of our students.



About the Role
  • The successful applicant will have approval to teach secondary English as a second language or be currently completing/enrolled in an approved post-graduate qualification for teaching English as a second language (secondary) recognized by the NSW Department of Education.


Key Responsibilities

The EALD teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing effective EALD programs and resources tailored to the needs and skills of our EALD students. They will also assess EALD students' progress and report outcomes effectively.

  • An understanding of the demands of working with diverse cultural backgrounds and the challenges faced by EALD learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional learning and development.
