Forklift Operator Job Description

Talent Focus is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Smithfield and Villawood locations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts, loading and unloading operations, and receiving, checking, and storing stock in designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers
  • Receive, check, and store stock in designated locations
  • Prepare materials for storage or shipment
  • Inspect materials for damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
  • 5 Bays High Required
  • Minimum of 2 years forklift experience
  • Must have RF Scanning Experience
  • Have unrestricted working rights and be able to work 38 hours a week
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
