Delivery Driver Role

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for completing all aspects of delivery runs in compliance with agreed procedures and general dock/warehouse duties as appropriate.

This role will cover approximately 2-5 shifts per week, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote satisfactory food safety, quality, and hygiene standards alongside occupational health and safety practices.
  • Drive and support HACCP and GMP in consultation with the team.
  • Utilize handheld equipment appropriately and ensure the return and charge daily, and fault reporting as required.
  • Ensure the vehicle is loaded according to 'Run Totals' and check residual stock matches estimated SOH Sheet.
  • Deliver all quantities of product depicted on each order in full and on time.
  • Pick-up and return empty crates and dollies from customers while ensuring correct handling of dollies laden with empty crates.
  • Liaise with customers while observing store regulations to develop strong business relationships.
  • Complete forms accurately, checking or escalating matters that require attention to the Supervisor or Team Leader if urgent or by the end of shift.
  • Participate in general Warehouse housekeeping at all times.

Critical Competencies:

  • Physically fit for the role; current QLD driving licence - MR essential, HR highly desirable;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously when required;
