About Bulk Tanker Driver Role

As a skilled professional in the logistics industry, you will be responsible for operating B-Double Tanker combinations to ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight.

This role requires you to conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to guarantee roadworthiness and compliance. You will also be expected to accurately acknowledge electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.

To be successful in this position, you must maintain adherence to company/site policies, state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws. Additionally, you will need to adhere to load restraint guidelines for secure transportation of freight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run B-Double Tanker combinations to ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to guarantee roadworthiness and compliance.
  • Acknowledge electronic reporting systems and other required documentation accurately.
  • Maintain adherence to company/site policies, state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
  • Adhere to load restraint guidelines for secure transportation of freight.
Requirements:
  • A valid MC License with a minimum of 2 years' recent Australian driving experience.
  • Knowledge of regional areas or interstate routes.
  • Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
  • Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
  • Possess excellent communication, time management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Understand road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
  • BFM Certification or willingness to obtain.
