About the Role

Mindshare is seeking a highly skilled Marketplace Associate Director to lead our investment team in delivering exceptional media buying results for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and inspiring the investment team to achieve Purple standard implementation and trading practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement media buying strategies that drive business growth and revenue
  • Lead and manage a team of media buyers to deliver high-quality media plans and campaigns
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media owners and clients to negotiate and secure the best possible deals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our media buying practices are best-in-class
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and delivery
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' business objectives and develop media plans that meet their needs
  • Manage and analyze campaign performance data to optimize media buying strategies and improve ROI
  • Stay within budget and ensure financial procedural adherence across all touchpoints
  • Ensure 100% adherence to GroupM SOX Compliance and auditing processes
  • Ensure timesheets are completed regularly with 100% accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in media agencies or the broader media industry, with a focus on TV buying
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality media plans and campaigns that drive business growth and revenue
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with media owners and clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze campaign performance data and optimize media buying strategies
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and adapt media buying practices accordingly
