We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join us on a part-time basis.

**Your Role**

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will assist with food preparation, presentation, serving, and clean-up of meals for our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service, food safety, and understanding special dietary requirements that impact the wellbeing of our residents.

**Your Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
  • Contribute to a clean and safe working environment for our residents, visitors, and staff
  • Ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks meet our high standards
  • Understand and cater to residents' special dietary requirements
  • Execute infection control initiatives

**The Skills We Need:**

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large kitchen)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts
  • Previous aged care experience in kitchen operations
  • Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards
