Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking motivated and responsible staff to fill kitchen positions at a bustling Melbourne eatery.
The successful applicants will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, assisting our chefs with various tasks such as food preparation, washing dishes, weighing up ingredients, general cleaning, and other kitchen duties.
There are multiple available roles:
Kitchen Assistant/Butter Hand PositionThis role involves shaping butter for lamination, washing dishes, weighing up ingredients, food prep tasks, general cleaning, and general assisting of the chefs 2-4 days per week, with varied hours.
General Kitchen Assistant PositionThis position includes washing dishes, weighing up ingredients, general cleaning, food prep tasks, and general assisting of the chefs 2-4 days per week, from 6am-3:30pm. Full time positions are also available.
Both roles require repetitive work involving some lifting. Training will be provided, and we offer a fun and supportive work environment where your contributions will play an important part in keeping our busy kitchen running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs with food presentation
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils
- Prepare ingredients for cooking and baking
Requirements:
- Work Authorisation in Australia
- Able to commute to Fitzroy VIC
- Availability to work day shifts including Monday to Friday
